I will be attending New School of Architecture + Design in a month. I am planning on building a new computer so that i can do classwork and job work at the luxury of my home. I don't know what my budget is at the moment, but im looking to run the essential programs like AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and Rhino at good speeds with minimal drag.
If anyone could post links or just simply give some advice, that would be much appreciated!
Contact Dell by phone, speak with a sales rep, and have them configure a PC for you for an estimate on how much it's going to cost you: mention the software you want to use.
Then take those specs and shop around the other vendors if you don't like Dell or still want to home-build your own.
