While configuring the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 installaton before installing AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 on my Windows 7 64 bit PC for the first time, I receive the following message "an older version of the MS Office Add-In is currently installed. Please uninstall the older version before installing the new version". MS Office Add-In is not listed in my list of installed programs. How do I go about uninstalling this item?
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.
Steve
ps I am installing Civil 3D 2011 on top of Civil 3D 2010. Should I remove Civil 3D 2010 first?
i know why that error is coming up your trying to install vault 2011 with civil 3d 2011
Do you have a “Client” entry for vault listed? If a client entry exists, can you try these steps?
1.) Control Panel > Programs and Features
2.) Click Autodesk Vault Client
3.) Click “Uninstall/Change”
4.) Click “Add/Remove Features
5.) Uncheck the “MS Office Add-in”
6.) Click “Next” and follow the prompts to uninstall.
