When installing AutoSketch 10 from a CD, I get a message saying "The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation" and the installation stops. I have admin rights to this computer. I don't know how to fix the problem. Does anybody out there have a solution?

Hello Eric!
Have you tried any of the solutions listed on this Microsoft Answers thread? Specifically:
Step 1:
Run the software setup file as an administrator and check if it helps.
a. Right click on the setup file of the software that you are trying to install.
b. Select “Run as administrator”.
Step 2:
Temporarily disable the antivirus software running on the computer and check if you are able to install the software.
Step 3:
a. Click Start, type "Local Security Policy" (without quotes) and press enter.
b. Click on Software Restriction Policies.
c. In the right pane, double click on the "enforcement".
d. Select “All users except local administrators”.
e. Click Ok and restart the computer and check if the issue is fixed.
Thank you for the response. The problem is solved. Apparently, I did not have full admin rights to the computer (just developer rights). I was able to log off and back on to Windows using an account with fill local admin rights, and then installed the software without any problems. Again, thanks.
My pleasure and happy to hear that you got this one straightened out!
