I know that it says that the file has to be such and such a size or don't do it... Blah..
Blah.. Blah.
Do me a favor.... Replace the adesksys.dll anyway. If you must rename the existing one
adesksysdll.old and then put the new one in there. That way you can always go back to it
not working if it doens't work.
Let me know what happens.

This post is similar but not quite the same as previous ones. We have the Acad 2000
version of ADLM installed and all of our Acad2000 software on our Winows 9x systems run
fine.
We just purchased a Win2000 machine, installed Acad2000 fine from the image on the server
created by ADLM, but Acad 2000 will not run, displaying the ever popular "FATAL ERROR:
Security system (hardware lock or Network liscense is not functioning or is improperly
installed" message. We know in fact that it is installed properly because it works fine on
Win 9x computers. The adesksys.dll patch is not applicable because we do not have the file
size the patch makes reference to.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This has also happened in a different time and place with an R14.01 and Win2k combination.
