HI all,
Im installing 6x ACAD 2011 NLMs from the Media ontop WinXP 32 machines. On three of the installations the PCs give me an error that .Net framework 3.5 does not want to install. I've uninstalled all .nets and used the .net cleanup tool. No luck.
Should I install .net 4?
ACAD 2010 is on still the PCs - should I uninstall it as well?
Any ideas how I can install .net and ACAD 2011 correctly.
Thanks
charl
Try installing .NET 3.5 directly from Microsoft.com or the AutoCAD 2011 media <<Media>>\x**\support\dotnetfx\wcu\dotNetFramework\dotNetFX35\x**
If .NET is installed and operating properly the .NET installer will detect it when our installer architecture launches it and our installer will respond according to the messaging the .NET installer provides it.
You may have to continue troubleshooting .NET and Windows. The .NET tools are the best tools I know of for this but you may need to check with an Operating system/.NET expert at Microsoft, your computers vendor, or an IT professional.
