ACAD 2000i Network deployment Installation Problem

When I try to create a client deployment on the network e.g.

\\Central\SYS2\APPS\AutoDesk\D_Drive\A2Ki

I get a 'Network Setup Wizard' message box which states:

The path \\Central\SYS2\ is write-protected.
The Network Setup Wizard need to create
installation deployments of AutoCAD 2000i in this location.

Why is the installer looking to write anything in a location not specified?

This problem didn't occur with other releases.
\\Central\SYS2\ is the root of a Netware Volume and shouldn't be used by any software.

I don't think you can have spaces in a deployment location for some reason.
Saw that somewhere, but don't hold me to it, OK?

James,

You are correct. Spaces in the share name have been known to cause install
problems.

There are no spaces in the following:

\\Central\SYS2\APPS\AutoDesk\D_Drive\A2Ki

Is an underscore a problem also?

Did this problem (which I am now experiencing on a new parallel install)
ever get resolved?

Thanx, Tony
