About Education Facilities customers

Hi,

Could some one can help me to clear the meaning of "Education Facilities Customers". I am in campus service department and use autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to maitain the building information including floor plan. We have been told that we were no longer allowed for "Facilities Use" under educational pricing. Could any one told me our department belong to "Education Facilities Customers"?

My understanding is that using the software to maintain, design, build  any facilities, even school buildings, constitutes commercial user and so an educational license cannot be used for this. Educational licenses are for teaching or learning the software only. You can find out more at the autodesk education website.
