A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager Civ3D2012

I have created installation package Civil 3D 2012, pointing to the correct license server. However when attempting to launch 3D 2012 I get the: A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager: If you are still unable to access a license contact your sys admin Error -5.412.0

Not sure where to start trouble shooting this >>>HELP?

Hi j.tekesic,

It seems that your machine is not able to pull the license. Try checking LICPATH.LIC file on your machine (Open with Notepad) and see if it points to your license server. If OK, then continue with restarting your license server and re-reading the license (LMTOOLS).

After that, go into command prompt (Start>type "CMD"). Once in command prompt type PING and the address of your server. If you can ping it then that's a good news.

After that, check in the license Server if you have "LMTOOLS ignores license path environmental varaiables" unchecked. If thsi is teh case, then your machine may have environmental variable set to point to the server.

if this does not help, see if you can go into Install and Licensing forum.

Hi Guys

I'm having this same problem in Autocad MAP 2013 3D ( error -4.132.0 )

I have done the procedure (http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-A... ) Not resolved.

The licpath.lic file is correct

They could help me?
