3dviz over network

I am attempting to share rendering with 3dviz r2 over a tcp/ip network
between two pc's. Everything seems to start off fine, but after an hour or
two or about 50 frames the remote pc disconnects with a Dr. Watson error in
3dviz. Are there any general hints to assuring at least that the network
connection between the two is stable, or what may be causing 3dviz to crash.

The two PC's use dhcp to connect to the NT Server, the necessary drives are
shared to public.

We sometimes get strange messages in our network renderings. I was told by
our reseller to try putting the rendering manager on a machine that is not
also acting as a redering server....I haven't had time to try it, but it
makes sense....

The two PC'c doing the rendering should not be using dhcp. Try giving them static IP addresses.
Also, try setting the page file to 1024 or even 2048. Network rendering needs alot of "swap" file space.
