3dsmax install fails - C++ redistributable failure?

Hi guys,

Trying to install 3DS max 2015 on a fresh machine running Win 8.1 - and it wont install past the C++ redistributables.

Any tips? Have tried online install, browser download etc.. all hangs on installing the C++ redistributables.

I had the same problem with maya 2015 thought but I installed maya 2013 and I tried again maya 2015 and it works, I dont now how..

I tried the same with 3ds max but nothing.
