It gets me this error while i try to launch the program after i have updated it to service pack 3 (The procedure entry point ?expand_symbolic_pathname @@YA?AVWStr@@AEBV1@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library MAXScript.dll) My os is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit what do i do now?

You should really only install a service pack if you are experience a problem that is resolved in a service pack. If it is not broken, don't fix it.

Dynamic link library problems can sometimes be fixed by reinstalling your Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables. That being said, you will probably have to reinstall your Max if that doesn't work. Sorry.
