3DS Max 2012 crash on first startup.

I just now installed 3DS Max 2012 Student Edition. All attempts to get it to work have failed. Every time I start up, it crashes at the exact same time, as it's loading a plugin called HSDS.dlm.

Need help with this.

Hello. Generic error so far. Do the basics:

1.)  Uninstall and reinstall.

2.)  Update your graphics card drivers

3.)  Download a new copy of the file

4.)  Turn off Antivirus

5.)  Look in the Windows event viewer for failures and search google for the failures, it may point to another program

Using the method in the post you mentioned above, I tried renaming the file I found in STDplug. Didn't work. So I tried moving it to Plugin conf (The destination it's apparently supposed to be in?), and now it starts up.

Not sure if this is going to bite me in the **** later, but if the issue could be looked into to find out if this is the ideal solution, I would greatly appreciate it.
