2014 Deployment - Can't select Customization setttings

In my deployment, I wanted to use a custom setting for my application options.  When I browse to the location of the .xml file, no files are shown in the dialog. When I browse to the location with Windows Explorer, the files are there.

(See Attachment)

I tried moving the files to a local drive, but that did not help.

No idea why it works now.  I went back and used the "Create & Modify a Deployment".  I can now select the .xml file I want to use.  Same steps as I used before.

Thanks.
