2011 doesnt support multi-threading???

Hi - just spent a small fortune on a computer to find that Max 2011 64bit doesnt support multithreading!!!!!!!!

My adobe suite runs perfectly and uses all 12 core and 12 gig of ram - but max wont start up....!!!!!!  i have to turn off multithreading in the bios settings for max to work. Whats the point of having all my extra ram and 12 cores....

There must be a fix for this does anyone know????????
