2010 mechanical: error at installation

Hello,
I want to temporarily move my 2010 mechanical license to another machine. As I understand, this can be done. First I believe I need to begin to install the software on the new machine, and this is where I encounter a problem. I receive after a few bars of progress at "Setup initialization", there appears the error message: "Cannot update some system component now. Please reboot the machine and try again". Of course rebooting does not take care of it. I'm sure it's a problem with just the one machine as, the setup will initialize on two separate test machines. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Perhaps someone could also tell me what steps to take after I am able to install.
Thanks,
Dave B

Please check if you have administrative previlages to this machine.

If not please obtain the same and proceed with the installation.

Sorry for not replying sooner. Yes, I have all privileges. I really just don't think it's gonna load on this particular machine. I'ts a vostros with a celeron and integrated graphics. I'm thinking it might be a video card or driver issue? CPU is 1.6 Ghz. AutoCAD lt 2004 works on it and I'll be getting a lic for 2011 lt for this machine, that's all we need. The program (2010 mechanical) will load on a similar machine though.

Uninstall all the Microsoft .net Frameworks form your machine (Control Panel).

Install the latest one form the link below:
