2010 Civil 3D Installation problems

Some of my students have been having issues with running the install for the Civil3D 2010 software.  When installing, it asks for a second disk.  They had downloaded both parts to their desktop.  I remember this being an issue before, but do not remember the fix to it.  Can you please advise?
