On my x64 machine, I need to install Inventor 2009 x32. (I have an older 3rd party application that needs this version).
I tried creating a x32 deployment and then ran it. I get the message "You cannont install this product on the current operating system". This might be because I am running Win7, but I think its because its x64 and not x32.
Is there a way I can do this? Thought about running a XP virtual machine, but I had rather not if I can get around it.
you can try this: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-Architecture/Updated-Workaround-instructions-for-64-Bit-OS-Ins...
don't know if it will work for 2009
