2 licenses

We have been using Inventor pro 2012 for a while now.  We want to transition to 2014.  Is it possible to have our Network license server issue licenses for both 2012 and 2014?

Yes.  If you are under Subscription then your new license will already have support for 2014 and 2012 concurrently. Otherwise, you can combine the license files according to my combining license file post.

But remember the native files are NOT backward compatible.. So any files created in 2014 can NOT be opened in 2012 without having to export to a neutral format like step/iges..

He ain't lyin'.  So when you're ready to migrate, you'll want to cut over all at once.  It's cool to get it all running and installed and ready to go first, and this will do it, but definitely don't try to run multiple Inventor versions at the same time.
