Softimage 2015 : Gamma Stuck at 300000 instead of 1

removed si2014 and installed 2015.

 

render region draws with a gamma value of 300000 instead of 1. tried to type in manually value of 1 but it turns to 3000000.

 

can`t find parameter in preferences to set back to 1

 

uninstalled SI2015 and clead registry, reinstalled and gamma value is still broken.

 

any ideas?
