I downloaded Maya 2015 for my 3D Modeling class, doing the 30-day trial till I'm given a license (because the Free Download page said "We're sorry we cannot provide you with your license details at this time.")
When I launch Maya, it says "Welcome to you trial". I sign in with my Autodesk student login, then the window stays up and only says "Welcome...". The only option I have is to click the "Exit Trial" button.
Then I get the error of:
"License was not obtained
Tried Maya 2015 (657G1 2015.0.0.F), error 19"
Why does it matter if I have the license or not when I'm trying to run the 30-day trial?
Using iMac Intel Core i7, running OSX 10.9.4
