Maya 2015 Student won't install

I have been trying to install maya for a couple days now.

Every time i do it starts installing but about 5 mins later the instalation finishes saying that some products failed to install. In this case all of them.

Im installing maya 2015, ive used the browser download and the regular installer same result. Im running windows 7 with plenty of room in the hard drive. Ive tried completely purging anything maya related from my system and trying again, not sure if i missed something or what.

Any help would be appreciated

I'm having the exact same problem. Are you installing to a drive other than your boot drive? That's what I'm trying to do, and I feel like that's the problem, but unfortunately I don't have a choice in the matter as my boot drive is getting too full.

I fixed my problem and successfully loaded Maya 2015.  Here are the steps I took:

1.  Turn off Windows Firewall

2.  Turn off virus protection

3.  Switched browser from Chrome to Firefox which resulted in the download working and the installer loading.

4.  The installer did say it would take a day and a half to load.  So, I stopped the installer

5.  Unplugged my modem for ten seconds and replugged it in and waited for it to initiate.

6.  Redid the process from the autodesk page.

It downloaded in about an hour.
