Maya 2015 Student Edition Installation problems

Hello, When i try to install maya it runs the installer but then quickly stops. when checking the data log, this is the last line of text:

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable ATL Security Update (x86) Failed Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603

My firewall is off and i have no anti virus. I ran the installer as admin. Im running windows 7. If anyone knows whats going on pleas help. Thank you.

I have same issue too, after click on install, it rapidly stop and abort download. I tried 2014 version and there was no problem so it may be a issue with maya 2015.

Hello all!

1600 errors can sometimes be tricky, but we have this great Autodesk Solution that helps! Although this solution is for error 1603, it also applies to other 1600 errors as they tend to behave the same way.

Hello thanks for the effort but I had already seen that page and tried all of those solution back before i ever posted here, a week ago. Is there anything else i can do?

If anyone has had this problem and been able to fix it id really appreaciate help here.

Sorry for the late reply. Were you able to resolve the issue? If not, have you tried an uninstall and reinstall? Are you current with your Maya 2015 service packs? Have you tried installing with your UAC disabled as well as your antivirus / firewall software?  Apologies for all of the troubles!
