Maya 2014 crashes on exit

Hi, I've recently downloaded Maya 2014 to try it out. When I try to close the main program window a red bar shows up at script feedback area.

The red bar says:  Error: line 1: Confirm Quit or File Save dialog box is hidden.

Then Windows shows an error dialogue box which closes maya.

I can't find any solution on this. Anyone can help me with this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Find the answer how to fix it.

1. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\System

2. Click "Advanced System Settings"

3. Go to "Advanced" tab, then click "Enviroment Variables"

4. The first section "User variables for <your user>" - click New...

5. Variable name - "MAYA_DISABLE_CIP | Variable value - 1

6. Click "Ok"

That's all. Everithing will work 🙂

I just ran into this particular problem with Maya 2014 & 2015 on Windows 7. I almost thought I was going to have to do a re-install. This worked great! Thanks for the solution!
