I just want to ask these two questions because I can't find the answers clearly from Google, Autodesk page, and it's help center page.
I am using Windows and I recently installed Maya 2015 (without service pack) and I want to patch my maya up to Service 5.
1. Should I uninstall Autodesk Maya and Install Maya 2015 Service Pack 5 Ahead. 2. If the answer to the question 1 is False, should I install service pack 5 ahead or install the service packs 1-5 in sequence.
If you are running Windows, Service Pack 5 is a patch...you do not need to uninstall Maya to apply it. It's only under OSX that you have to uninstall previous versions of Maya to apply service packs.
To answer your second question, Service Packs include all the fixes from the previous service packs, so you can go right to SP5.
