HP Elitebook 8570w for Maya?

Hello,

I am trying to find a cheap-ish mobile solution to do some simple part renders using Maya and parts created in Pro-E (engineering software).

I am looking at the HP 8570w workstation (it's what my company has), but wanted to make sure it was powerful enough to do what I want.

Here are the specs:

  • Intel Core i7 3740QM (2.70GHz)
  • 8GB Memory 750GB HDD
  • NVIDIA Quadro K1000M
  • 1920 x 1080
  • Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Not looking to render crazy scenes or anything, just product parts and assemblies from Pro-E. I can upgrade the RAM up to 32gbs, but my concern was the video card. Thanks!
