GTX 1070 Custom Pc

Hi all, (excuse my bad english)

Autodesk online support suggest me to post here for hardware information 

Will begin study in Haute Ecole Liege in 3D Maya2016-2017. Need to buy un computer desktop have just 1 question about it.

Is a Nvidia GTX1070 or GTX1080 will work for this custom PC ? Is the GTX1080 will be better than the GTX1070 in Maya ? I know the high end will be better in game but especialy with Maya is there difference ?

Have check the forum but there is only 2 thread (1 with bug audio and the other one no response)

If the graphic card meets or exceeds this requirement I would imagine it will be fine.
