Hullo!
I recently tried out the Maya trial, to see if I would want to use it as a student or not.
It installed fine, but every time I open it, I see a blank "output screen" for 15-45 seconds, and then the trail info and register screen appears.
When I click "continue to Maya" (or something of the sort. :P) it takes another 30-60 seconds to open Maya. And when it does, it is veerrry laggy.
As I said, it installed correctly, so that's not the problem. The only other thing I could think of would be my HDD being a bit slow, but not by much...
My Specs, if they are needed:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
AMD FX-4350 4-core, 4.2 Ghz
16 GB DDR3 RAM
Nvidia 760 2GB GPU
I should also state that my computer undergoes extreme lag while this is taking place, to the point where I have to leave my desktop and do something else. (This worries me, because (as you can see above) my specs are not too low.)
