Error installing Maya 2016 Student version, please help.

I have been trying to download the Maya 2016 student version. I log in and everything, choose my operating system and click on "Browser Download". Next, a blank screen pops up and says:

An error occurred while processing your request.

What do I do? This is really frustrating me, and am almost ready to give up with everything.

It looks like you're seeing a blank screen after downloading your software. This issue typically occurs because Internet Explorer is either blocking or cannot connect to Autodesk registration servers. I forgot to say, I am using Ubuntu 15.10, how would I do this under Ubuntu? Thankyou.

This did not work or help. I need somebody to break this down in simpler terms. I am not too computer saavy in terms of firewall and stuff. I am using linux 15.10 and need someone to help me do this on linux and not windows. Thanks

Hi @programmer12295

Please disable your firewall and anti-virus programs, and re-download Maya 2016 from our Virtual Agent (click on Download Links, choose product and version). Then try the installation again.

What browser is that that you are using. May be worth it to try a different one seems like this issue may be browser related.
