3DS Max Design 2015 SP2 annoyance!

Hi,

Why can i no longer extract an MSP from 3DS Max Design Service Packs, in particular SP2 for 2015. This has really annoyed me as 3DS Max Design installs and updates have been really easy to do because they were so consistent, however this has now put a spanner in the works and i have more work to do.

Regards,

Duncan

Are you sure? I just extracted it with Winrar.

Hi,

I actually found the MSP needed in my %TEMP% location. I was just annoyed that the process i was so used to using (/e) to extract MSP's from within 3DS Max Design Service Packs had changed.

In fact, once i'd gone through all this, i actually found an even better way of getting the MSP i needed by downloading the Extension 1 for 3DS Max Design from Subscription. I selected Deploy and there they were, two MSI's!

Case resolved 🙂
