Using point clouds te generate a surface in Infraworks

Hi,

I was wondering whether it is possible to use a point cloud to generate an elevation model on top of which aerial images can be draped in Autodesk Infraworks?

Best,

Jesse

I have not done it but it is acceptable data to be used within Infraworks 2014 for sure

hello,

this is not yet posible in AIW, since we do not import point clouds as terrain data.

thx for the hint 🙂

you can use Map3d or Civil for creating a geotiff or else out of it which can be inserted into AIW.
