Supported file formats

Hi!

I am doing a review of different softwares and I am trying find an information about the file formats that are supported in Infraworks. I am trying to find a this kind of paper about it : http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/Navisworks_2014_Supported_Formats_and_Applications.pdf

I can't find it. Do you know if something like this related to Infraworks exist? Or where can I find this information?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Jukka,

Check the following link which has some details on supported file formats -

http://docs.autodesk.com/ICD/2014/ENU/Training_Guide/autodesk-infraworks-training-guide.pdf

Thanks,

Hi again!

I have found that training guide also but it doesn't yet answer the question. There are only few formats discussed in that paper and I assume that there are more  formats that are possible to upload (e.g. IFC?).

Hi,

I don't see any other comprehensive document listing all the supported file formats.

Which version / release of InfraWorks are you using ?

I believe IFC support will be there in later release.

Thanks,

Hi!

The thing is that I am not using the software but I am making a review paper about different softwares. But if there is no other document then we can't do anything. Thanks anyway for the fast answer!

I couldn't find a single comprehensive list either, but it's quite a long list, including most GDAL and OGR supported formats.  Take a look at the screenshots below for a little detai.

Data Source Options (some of which support multiple formats - 3D Model and Raster, for example)

Databases:

Partial list after expanding the Generic option above:

Hope that helps!
