I am researching workflows to edit materials for revit imports into infraworks. I have tried the workflow of exporting the revit file to navisworks and saving the navisworks file as an FBX for the materials to come in more clear in the infraworks model. Does anyone know why this workflow makes materials looks better?
Also, once the revit model is in infraworks, can you create a style or a rule that will override the model materials? Can we create custom materials or use infraworks materials on a revit model in infraworks?
