Purple Trees

Hello,

We are rather new at this, but would like some advice on where to sharpen our skills in Infraworks in general. We have a rendering issue with our presentation we are working on; and I'm not seeing any other options to help get rid of or mitigate the 'purple tree syndrome'

Anyway someone would take a look and point me/us in the right direction on how to fix, would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Are those trees highlighted in the Model Explorer? See: To Highlight features help topic

Also, have you checked to make sure that any imported tree data (or 3D tree models) is configured correctly? I've had unusual colors appear on imported features that I hadn't configured properly. See: To import data help topic.

Thanks!

Elliott

I see that the purple goes away as you move nearer the affected trees. That makes me think if you adjust your 3D Graphics Optimization in Application Options you'll get better results (although probably a larger avi file.)
