Is there any way to flatten out surfaces in Infraworks? We have a proposed model from C3D that hasnt been created very well, so has a few issues with the triangulation so some areas that should be flat are actually a bit messy. Would be nice to tidy it up in Infraworks. Or can it only be done in C3D?
generally the feature edit functionality is limited in InfraWorks. Therefore it is good to import the final surfaces into the program. Please also not that all surfaces will be merged.
If you have the surface in InfraWorks you could just add polygon data and drape it onto the surface or you can create a coverage in InfraWorks and adjust the z-information that way that you receive a flat, transparent coverage.
