Intersections on Civil 3D

I have a model in InfraWorks with a simple intersection.

When I import the model into Civil 3D, the intersection is generated but there are no kerb returns. They appear to have generated but have zero length and are not connected to the offset alignments.

Was the intersection created and design by design roads or was it from imported data sources? If they are just planar roads then the curve alignments will not come in. If the roads were imported in you can convert them to design roads. Then you can import back into C3D.

If you are in C3D 2016 and using the new Open InfraWorks Model feature be sure to click the Refine Selection Set button at the bottom. Then check to see if you see design roads and intersections listed as features.
