creating a facade

I'm attempting to create a new facade in IW 3360 2015 but the methods outlined in http://atlandsend.typepad.com/at-lands-end/2013/03/defining-your-own-facade-styles.html aren't working as the file formats have since been changed.

Anyone have luck in creating new styles for facades?

Hi Brian,

I am wondering if the InfraWorks help files are good enough to help you in this issue?

Regards,
Karsten.

Yeah, saw that in the help but that is really for editing, I was hoping
that there was a better solution for "creating" a complete new facade. I
was able to get something close to what I was looking for by referring to
the article I linked earlier but since that was an outdated solution I used
the */Blue Red Yellow Solid.ACItem* as a go by as that one does not have
geometry associated to the material but the tag for it is still there. I
think the earlier link had the geometry tag deleted where I believe its
required in the new file format for ACItem files. Not sure just a guess but
following the layout of the files found in *C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\InfraWorks
360\Resources\LocalLibrary\Styles\FacadeTheme\Simple color facades* seemed
to have worked at the present.

Although, it would be great if we had an interface that allowed us to
create a facade to our liking. I would like to have an option to stylize
based on number of sides and then be able to style one or many sides
differently as we see fit rather than the entire floor repeats for the
entire floor.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
