@Eric_Chappell, during interactively placing the data source, you can use CTRL and ALT buttons for SCALING and ROTATING the image!

It still looks pretty bad. I think creating realistic looking crosswalks is a big drawback for now and it will make it difficult to create realistic looking junctions.
