Random height

does anyone have a script or a good process for randomizing the heights of trees? I can randomize the species, but having troubles with heights

Each tree in the library has its own inherent height. Insert one at a scale of 1 and measure its height by editing it and checking the value shown with the wide cyan arrow at the top of the tree (click it once to reveal the height).Then in your script, change the the scale value to the height you want and divide the result by the tree's inherent height to get the correct results.

 

I have attached a litte Java script Wes Newman helped me write (thanks to Eric Chappell) with some comments to help you get the idea. I randomized my database since the heights were not measured at all while collected with a GPS unit (the elevation was forgot about to so I made some up).
