Cross Sections Through an Infraworks Model

I am building a model that includes putting a parking garage into the side of an existing hill, taking the top of the hill off, and putting in SketchUp models to represent the parking garage and the surrounding buildings near the entrance of Zions National Park.  We want to create cross sections through the parking garage hill similar to what you can do in SketchUp with section planes.  Is there a way to do this in Infraworks without having to export it to civil 3D?  We want to be able to conceptually illustrate how the site will look for a big proposal we have coming up.  Let me know if this is possible!

Thanks.

Currently that ability is unavailable in Infraworks. But hop on over to the IdeaStation and vote up @Eduardo.Soethe's idea of incorporating cross-sectional views in Infraworks. Hopefully it will get incorporated into a future release.

@Eduardo.Soethe, the transparency of the roadway materials is a nice touch. Not too much, not too little.  Smiley Happy

That is a great work around thanks for the idea!  Yes it would be great to have a cross section function!

Thank you.

The only down side to this approach (changing the model extents) is that it doesn't cut through my SketchUp model of the parking garage but rather removes it entirely!  Any ideas on how to work around this?  It would be great if this would cut through my SketchUp model and show it too!
