Theming Defaults

I am theming a layer with apporox 60 layers and author will only spread the colours out between red- blue or whatever I pic, then it will throw back 15 blues getting ever so slightly lighter and 15 heading towards light red and more then towards a strong red. but never any green, yellow, brown, purples etc…

How can I get Author to assign UNIQUE and strong colours to each theme?? without having to edit the mwx file.
this is a sql table and I want to do as much within MapGuide Author (V 6.5)

After it assigns whatever colors it wants to the 60 themes, can't you edit
each one manually in the layer properties dialog and pick the color you
want? You should not need to edit the MWX and should be able to do
everything in Author. I have found that I almost always have to override
the theme colors that Author chooses. It can take a considerable amount of
time for many theme ranges, but at least you only have to do it once. The
next generation of MapGuide has much better theming (and uses RGB colors).

Thanks Andy, I was hoping not to have to do this manually but I suppose for the time being....Appreciate the reply.
