Hello,
I have convert my spatial data from SHP to SDF using GUI SDF Loader 6.0 in order to run a performance test and to compare the performance which one is the faster , SHP or SDF. I have read an article that said SDF is much smaller than SHP and can give faster delivery.
However, when I convert the data, It seem SHP is more lighter than SDF. SDF more heavy than SDF. The size different is about 1MB. How it could be? Consequently, my performance testing results showed that SHP data is faster than SDF data for about 1 second. So anyone expertise here can help me in solving this confusing matter? Is there any reason why my results are totally different from the fact that Autoddesk and others said?
