We are not fully done researching possible culprits for the performance issue we are experiencing. But at present, it is looking like the culprit is SQL 2008 map layers loading with a DSN using windows authentication rather than SQL userid/password authentication.
Anyone else running into slow load of AIMS 2012 maps when using windows authentication for their SQL 2008 Spatial map layers?
Map load time jumps up 30 seconds. (interestingly, it is initial map load that drags. Subsequent loads are fine. That is until another AIMS service restart or a as yet to be determined idle time).
