Multiple Select on AJAX Viewer in AIMS 2015 No Longer Available

I am looking for a workaround for a new Bug in AIMS 2015 - Ajax Viewer.

We can no longer select multiple objects while holding down the shift key in AIMS 2015 in the AJAX/Basic Web Layout.

It works great in MapGuide 2.6 and AIMS 2014.

Does anyone know a workaround to the failing select-click bug?

gordon

We are experiencing this issue on our AJAX 2015 viewer which was not an issue in the past.  This is a deal breaker for AIMs since our users are now unable to use the map to its fullest extent.   This is a huge BUG that needs to be fixed right away, our clients depend on the ability to choose more than one object at a time.

Yes, it is a defect of AIMS 2015.

You could try the attached file, save and unzip it. Copy the file to <install folder>\www\viewerfiles and overwrite the existing one. (please backup the orginal one at first).

That worked great!!  Thanks very much for the help with this.

My frustration grows with Autodesk, no response to this issue at all.  Furthermore, how hard is it to check to be sure the most basic features of AIMS are functioning as expected before release?

Thanks Andy, I see you had to add an "append" to the ajaxmappane.templ
Nice Work!

Do you have a similar work-around for FUSION?

thanks again for great work!

I created a workaround for fusion. You could unzip it to <install folder>\www\fusion\lib (please backup original one first).

Hi

Attached was fusion compressed. Can you send me fusion uncompressed? I have to integrate our modifications in the code...

Does anybody knows why Autodesk does not publish it as a bugfix for AIMS?

Best and thanks, Benjamin

Hy Andy

I tried fusionSF which you sent me. Bug is not fixed with this file. With fusionSF you sent me and fusionSF-compressed (include Bugfix), language parameter locale=de is not working. Can you describe where an how you fixed the bug?

Best and many thanks, Benjamin

Please try this one.

It is because a new API is introduced MGOS 2.6, but is not included in AIMS 2015. So in AIMS, we need use old APIs. The file changed is MapGuide.js.

I have no idea about why it doesn't work when locale is DE.

Hi Andy

It works. I replaced fusionSF.js and MapGuide.js which you sent me.

For language support I added the code with comment /**************start:added by TBWeb***************/.

Thanks a lot for your help and best, Benjamin
