Missing API Reference Docs

The MGE Developer Guide refers repeatedly to "...more detailed information" in the online 'MapGuide Web API Reference' and a MapGuide Viewer API Reference'. I haven't been able to locate either of these documents in the post install directories, installation CDs (MGE, Sample and Studio), or online at either the Autodesk or ADN site.
Do these references exist as a file and if so where are they located?

Thanks!

They are available on the OSGeo site:

https://mapguide.osgeo.org/documentation.html

Specifically:

https://mapguide.osgeo.org/nonav/docs/webapi/index.html
and
https://mapguide.osgeo.org/nonav/docs/viewerapi/viewerapi.html

They take a while to figure out how to navigate, but are useful once
mastered.

Thank you sir!
(and you're right, they are a bit convoluted!)

For some reason, the docs are not installed by default when you install the
Web Extensions. If you choose to do a Custom Install, you will see that you
can add this to your install. The default location for this on a Windows
install is: C:\Program
Files\Autodesk\MapGuideEnterprise2007\WebServerExtensions\Help\

I agree that the Web API Reference can be difficult to navigate. When I was
first developing on MGOS (MapServer Enterprise at the time), I often was
looking at the code samples and then looking up referenced classes, methods,
etc. The first versions of this API reference had a Search utililty built
in. Then, the ability to search got removed around February (I can't
remember which build). I would love to see this ability added back in as I
thought it was very handy. But then again, forcing people to traverse
through the heirarchy does sort of force them to learn more about it

I've been clawing at this application on and off for months now and the paint on it hardly shows a mark! But, I have benefited on numerous occasions from your input on the OSGEO site and I very much look forward to attending your class at AU. Perhaps we'll get a chance to meet and discuss my efforts to publish optical fiber usage data with MGE.

Thanks Andy!

I think that the search ability went away when they moved to an open
source documentation system, but I could be wrong. When the OSGeo
infrastructure gets worked out, this is the kind of thing we'll be able
to easily address.
