MGE 2011 Upgrade and Repository

Currently running 2010 MGE commercial.  Upgrading to MGE 2011 64 and a new server. Is the site and data repository fully portable through copy from 2010 to 2011 new install.?

I believe it should be for the Repositories folder structure.

Copying the 2010 Repoistories to 2011 causes my MGE service to shut down and not start back up again.  As soon as I put the originial back , all is well. Session Repository is OK but not main data Library.  I could make packages for the sites but I do not want to create all users all over again.

I find it somewhat odd that this is happening. As far as I know they are supposed to be compatible. If you follow the instructions on the MGE2011 Upgrading Windows html page it suggests you do a cold backup, restore and recover in 2010 before copying the Repositiories to 2011.

Please try that as there may be something odd with the current state of your 2010 Repositories.
