Any of you guys encountered an error which says:
"MapServer.exe has experience an error. Windows will now restart this
service....an error log has been made...etc"
(or something like that)
yet when you open the error log,...nothing is recorded.
This is the first time I have encountered this pop-up message and is
wondering if any of you experienced it
before. Mainly, what happened is that one of the users apparently uploaded
a data that has been infected
with a virus. The MG server performance got rocky after this and eventually
after a few days, that error pops-up
everytime someone accesses something in the viewer. After trying to access
some more, MG will return a
"MapGuide Server Error 500" in the browser and that there is a network
request failure with mapagent_isapi.isa.
There were times wherein we can't access the localhost either.
We have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling MapGuide...but same thing
happens everytime. My hunch is that
somehow the virus before was some kind of worm that infected the IIS and
corrupted some files. I advised
reinstalling the IIS and worse comes to worse....reformat the unit, then
install MG again.
This is all I can think of to do for the moment. I am now wondering if any
of you can give advise or have
experienced a similar thing before.
Thank You in Advance.
