Mapguide Viewer and registry

Hello,

one of my customers changed some settings in the registry, and then the
viewer cannot load dynamic MG layers. I tried this, and I found, that
only one setting has this behavior:

look at

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\U
ser Shell Folders]

In all entries, he changes "%USERPROILE%\..." to
'\\servername\username\...' .

It is enough to change the desktop-entryto take the effect. So I
changed it to '\\Lap01\C$\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Frank
Maraite\DESKTOP' (german version). Then I open my MSIE, visit
www.mapguide.com, there the sample applications, then local government.
I can se the legend, but after a few whiles, there comes a message
"Fehler beim Kartenlesen ...". Only paths and RailRoad are on the map,
I think, they are static layers.

This was under Win NT4, but now on WIN2000 SP3. Version of MG-viewer is
6.0.4.2.

Any idea's? Now I will try the english version.

Hello again,

with the english-version 6.3.1.3, the problem has gone. So I wish an
updated german version. I downloaded 6.0.4.2 it yust a few minutes
before.
