MapGuide and ArcIMS on same server?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with loading ArcIMS and Autodesk Mapguide on the same server? Our organization currently has a web server that is running ArcIMS. Our IMS administrator is interested in comparing IMS with Mapguide to determine which is best suited for his needs. To do that, obviously, we need to load Mapguide somewhere, and we were curious if anyone has seen any conflicts between the two applications when loaded on the same server.

Thanks for the help.

I have run MapGuide 6.5 and ArcIMS on the same server in the past without a
problem. I do not anticipate that there would be a problem with MapGuide
Enterprise and ArcIMS on the server, either. If you use the Java web
extensions for MapGuide Enterprise, I suppose that there might be a
potential port conflict with your Java servlet application, but that could
be easily worked around.

Hey, that's good news for a change!

We'll give it a try, then. Thanks for the help, Andy.
