Map refresh problem with MapGuide Enterprise 2007 sample application

We have set up MapGuide Enterprise 2007 on two new Windows Server 2003 with
the SHEBOYGAN dataset and dotnet sample application installed. Testing on
the configuration of the MGE server shows no problem.

However, when opening the ajaxviewersample.aspx on my XP with IE, the map
didn't show in the first time loading, only after the second time refresh
(either through the browser Refresh button or through one Viewer toolbar
button like Pan which triggers a refresh), the map showed. This refresh
problem happens constantly for all actions such as Find Parcels/Address
functions, i.e. only after every second time run of a function, the map
shows, the first time run of it always ends up with a blank background map.
No error messages.

when opening the dwfviewersample.aspx, the same refresh problem occurs but
in some cases, this error message occurred from Find Parcels/Addresses:
MapGuide server error: status code 559 MgNullReferenceException. Also
sometimes this error from an initial loading:

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Meng

I have been having the same problem with a custom map and the issue only occurs on initial map load.

I have tried the following:
1. Starting the MapGuide Session when the application session starts. This has reduced the number of occurences but not resolved the issue completely.
2. Executing the ZoomToInitialView command on the initial load. This works if the map is loaded by the time that the command is executed (rare).

I would appreciate any other ideas because I do not want to have to use a timer and wait page to execute the ZoomToInitialView on the initial load of my site.
