Linux Font directory

May i know the exact directory of linux server in order for me to update my font during rendering of maps design? i have made my authoring on windows but data is served from a Linux CentOS 4.3. Fonts being rendered is not the same font i made during authoring. I read that i have to copy my fonts on the server font directory but it seems i cant find the exact directory.

Thanks for any help..

I would google the answer because different linux flavors may have different directories and implementations. I saw one posting indicating /usr/share/fonts. Microsoft fonts are a copywrited part of the OS so copying them to Linux is not endorsed by Autodesk. If you have your own licensed True Type fonts then copying them is not a concern.

Hi Dave,
In the past, I found that MapGuide would not recognize the fonts in the
share directory and I instead copied them to
/usr/local/mapguideopensource/server/bin (change the path for MapGuide
Enterprise). After restarting MapGuide, those fonts were then utilized when
rendering the map.
